About Us

Darin Bare:
Darin’s career reflects a long career of entrepreneurial ventures that have created jobs and opportunities for local residents. Mr. Bare started and ran a successful custom cabinet shop that also offered remodeling services. He also developed an extensive contract base to that provided “warranty service” for Fleetwood Homes and Anderson window. Mr. Bare has also created a company that operates a truck wash as well as another company that manufactures and installs septic tanks.
His recent companies include 1’st Choice Home Improvement and 1’st Choice Disaster Solutions and Disaster Professionals. He started Disaster Professionals for the purpose of marketing, branding and name recognition for which the other two companies will roll-up under. Daren is excited to open up his corporate office in Eagle Mountain and plans to continue hiring local residence as his business accelerates. Disaster Professionals has an office in Rock Springs, Wyoming where they share space with the large real estate brokerage company called Southwest Maggie Riley. In March, disaster professionals plans to open an office in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Darin and his wife Tris both graduated from Idaho Falls High School and have lived in Eagle Mountain since 2006. They have three adult children and one new granddaughter.

Steve Butcher:
Steve Butcher is Marketing Manager and Estimator for Disaster Professionals in Eagle Mountain, Utah. Mr. Butcher is also the owner of Southpointe Development, a construction company specializing in new construction, small commercial building and residential remodels. Previous work experience includes Realtor for 10 years, head trainer for HMS Corporation for 13 years, and Sales Executive for Franklin Covey, The Keys Company, and a national sales rep for a greeting card company.
Steve has lived in Eagle Mountain since September of 2008. He loves living in the area and enjoys the people and what the community of Eagle Mountain has to offer. Mr. Butcher enjoys hobbies such as golfing, hiking, basketball and photography.
