I do not recommend this company to anybody. Their prices are outrageous and I would dare say price gouging. We called because we found the main stack for one of our upstairs bathrooms had a leak from a screw being put in it to hang the microwave. Steve came over and told us that it wouldn’t cost more than $500 to get everything fixed so we gave them the go ahead to fix it. A plumber came over and “fixed” the pipe while I was at work. They charged us $322.00 to fix the pipe which consisted of no more than 2’ of abs and two clamps which you can see in the attached picture in 1 hour total. When I got home they did it wrong as well as nicked the pipe higher up while cutting out the drywall with a sawzall to get to the leak and told my wife that the drywall would stick out because of the coupling he put on and there was nothing he could do. I then got a price from Steve and his crew to fix the drywall for $250 minimum if it didn’t take a lot of time to match the texture of the drywall. As you can see from the picture it’s not a very big area of drywall that needed fixed. At this point that bid of $500 maximum is out the window. I called Steve and told him I was going to cancel because I could fix the drywall for cheaper myself and had to fix the plumbing job as well. Steve claimed that the $500 bid was just for the drywall and a quick spray of the infected area from the leak and that the job done by the plumber was independent of them and not included in the original pricing but since the plumber did bad work he would guarantee that between what the plumber returns for the bad work and the rest of the work would not be more than $500. The plumber came back out and had to change out everything because of the nicks and the couplings they used were the wrong ones. It still only took them an hour to fix it correctly and complained that I should pay them the full amount but would settle for $150 since we had a bad experience. I called around to get pricing on all the stuff they used and the pricing I got was as follows, 2”abs pipe $1.25 per foot. 2” couplings $5 a piece. Also come to find out the plumber was an apprentice. Jose came out and did the drywall right after the plumber finished up, it took him no more than an hour to do everything except paint the wall when I talked to Steve about the pricing of $250 he said that is the minimum charge for drywall and there is nothing he could do about the price. Jose was able to match the texture by using the spray on texturing and not even break a sweat while doing it. Steve did stick to the promise that we wouldn’t pay more than $500 for it but he sure did a good job of making sure the price was about as high as they could get. Never again will I use this company or recommend them to anyone.

I called and spoke with Darin (the owner) at about 1:00 am on a Saturday and told him about some water coming into the basement from an over saturated French drain and after talking with him, he suggested that somebody come out in the morning to avoid an after hours charge. I asked about pricing and he said that he plugs in the work into the computer and it spits it out but he would give us a discount since we weren’t paying with Insurance. I agreed to have someone come out the next morning. James came out and was super kind and had no problem pulling up the carpet and getting the wet pad out. It was no more than 200 sq feet of carpet that was pulled back. He was done within an hour and set up 4 fans and a dehumidifier. I again asked about pricing and he said he doesn’t handle that and he really couldn’t say. I kept pestering him about price and he said that he’d guess “low hundreds”. Two guys that didn’t seem to have any experience other than picking up equipment came and picked up the fans and dehumidifier on Tuesday. I asked them about pricing but they said they didn’t do pricing and said I’d want to talk to Darren. Then I got a call from Steve Butcher who gave me an $819.35 quote for pulling up some wet pad and setting up fans. They said they could discount it to $600 since it isn’t going through insurance. That seems outrageous and incredibly frustrating given that I couldn’t get a price out of anybody. I have called them at least 6 times to talk to Darren again but he is never available. I have left my number and he never returns my calls. They have been very frustrating to work with and didn’t make a stressful situation any easier.
